In this role, Mr. Shalett has led the effort to create a business strategy, build an operational capability and executive team, as well as leading capital raising efforts.Previously, Mr. Shalett was the Founder and the Managing Partner of Wynston Hill Capital (WHC), where he was responsible for all of the activities of the firm, with a specific focus on investment banking activities. At WHC, Mr. Shalett led banking engagements and made principal investments in the following companies: Gourmet Express Inc., the country’s largest producer of private label frozen skillet meals, Calgon Bath and Beauty, a venerable consumer brand in the bath and body soap business, and Smith Electric Vehicles US, a leading manufacturer of commercial electric vehicles. In addition to acting as banker, Mr. Shalett has served as Secretary and Director of Smith Electric Vehicles US, and as a Director of Gourmet Express Inc.
Mr. Shalett graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, with a B.S. in Economics in 1988, and earned his MBA at Harvard Business School in 1993.
